As an adult, you may not be hitting the books in a traditional manner this fall, but at Barritt's we're always down to share a bit of knowledge. While some may be headed back to school this September, we're heading back to basics... cocktail basics that is. Gather your supplies list, it's time for a quick course on how to build the perfect mule, featuring yours truly, Barritt's Ginger Beer.

Simple Mule


2 oz. Tito's Vodka

1 oz. lime juice

4 oz. Barritt's Ginger Beer


Combine Tito's Vodka, lime juice and Barritt's Ginger Beer in a copper mug. Garnish with lime.

Slim Mule


1 oz. Tito's Vodka

1/2 oz. St. Germain

1 oz. lemon or lime juice

Barritt's Diet Ginger Beer


Combine Tito's Vodka, St. Germain, lemon or lime juice and Barritt's Diet Ginger Beer in an ice-filled copper mug. Garnish with strawberry slice and lemon or lime wheel.

Berry Basic Mule via She Knows


1/2 oz. lime juice

Fresh berries

2 oz. Tito's Vodka

3 oz. Barritt's Ginger Beer 

Soda water


Muddle berries and lime juice. Add Barritt's Ginger Beer and Tito's Vodka. Pour over ice and top with soda water.
