It’s the most wonderful time of the year to gather with loved ones from near and far, celebrate all that the past 365 days have brought and of course indulge in endless sweet treats. From holiday parties to spur of the moment gatherings, ‘tis the season where having sweet treats on hand at all times is a must. No matter what this holiday season entails for you and your loved ones, be sure to take time to slow down and spoil yourself with one of these festive desserts and a jubilant Barritt’s cocktail.
Oreo Ornaments via Sarah’s Bake Studio
2 c. White chocolate wafers
2 tbsp. Paramount crystals
8 oz. Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Combine white chocolate wafers and paramount crystals in a bowl and microwave on medium heat until melted. Dip Oreos into the melted chocolate mixture and tap to remove excess chocolate. Transfer to a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Immediately press a mini peanut butter cup at the top and decorate with additional toppings of your choosing.
Peppermint Reindeer Bark via It’s Always Autumn
1 bag Milk chocolate chips
1 Candy cane
Mini pretzel twists, broken into antler shapes
Line a baking sheet with wax paper before melting the chocolate chips and spreading the chocolate out into a thin layer. Place the M&M nose, broken pretzel antlers and candy eyes on the chocolate throughout. Sprinkle with crushed candy canes and refrigerate until firm. Use a knife to cut apart the bark into individual reindeer.
White Chocolate Peppermint Pretzels via Lil’ Luna
15 to 20 Pretzel rods
3 to 4 Candy coating cubes
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper before melting candy coating on the stove over low heat. While it’s melting, place the candy canes into a bowl, crush them and set aside. Dip pretzel rods into the melted candy coating and place on baking sheet before topping with broken candy canes.
